Patrick Rochereau, director of Blue Soft Data, looks back at the recruitment process at Blue Soft Data: the profiles recruited, the employee path, training and co-option.

Recruitment at Blue Soft Data: what profiles are you recruiting?

"The profiles we recruit at Blue Soft Data are not just experts. We have consultants specialized in consulting within the Consulting department. We also have project managers, who are more technical project managers, PMOs (Project Management Offices) and experts.

We make 40% of our revenue from the construction and management of service centers at our customers' sites. We mainly manage level 2, which includes the "run" businesses, often with invoicing based on gesture in UO mode. On these contracts with a commitment to results, we integrate young people coming out of school, generally with a 4/5-year degree. They learn the business and develop their skills.

We have some great success stories. For example, two of our consultants at a very large financial institution reached Level 3 after 13 months."

What career path can an employee expect when joining Blue Soft Data?

Patrick Rochereau explains:

"In terms of development, at Blue Soft Data and within the group, all opportunities are open. We try to take into account the employee's professional project to see how it fits in with the company's project and strategy.

Over a three-year period, we define with the employee the objectives he or she wishes to achieve. During these three years, we organize 5 interviews with the employee and his technical manager to measure the achievement of the objective, the needs for training, coaching or support. At the end of the year during the "Career Committee", we reprogram an additional objective. This allows the employee to continuously develop his or her employability. This is fundamental to us so that they can achieve their personal personal goals within the group.

I have an example that comes naturally to mind to illustrate our approach. My assistant, whom I recruited some 15 years ago, was initially a storage expert. After a spell in the technical department, he is now helping me to develop development of Blue Soft Data. He is the best example of the possibilities of evolution."

How important is training at Blue Soft Data?

"As specialists in our field, we must always be at the forefront of the technologies we recommend to our clients. This is whyraining is one of the pillars of our activity at Blue Soft Data and a significant budget is logically allocated to it.

In fact, we launched a training program a year and a half ago: the "100% certification". All of our training courses lead to certification, because we want to certify all of our employees. This is beneficial for them personally, but it is also a way of attesting to our clients the level of our experts. We are strongly committed to this.

How does co-option work at Blue Soft Data?

"We have a system of of encouraged co-optation. What we see at Blue Soft is that more than 30% of our recruitments are made through spontaneous co-optation. It's quite remarkable to see that more than a third of our employees come to us by co-option.What you have to remember is that anything is possible at Blue Soft Data, if you have the talent and the desire." says Patrick Rochereau.
