Management Profile: Anne-Lucie Philonenko, Blue Soft Consulting

On the occasion of the International Women's Rights Day, we have chosen to highlight the portrait of one of our managers, Anne-Lucie Philonenko. Director of our subsidiaries Iléo Conseil and Iléo Niort, she shares her career path, her experience and her vision, as a woman and a manager, in this interview. The beginning of a woman manager's career path "30 years ago, the professions addressed to women were mainly communication or business engineering. I first worked in a private bank for 5 years as a communications manager. The experience was a unique learning experience; this company being composed mostly of men, I understood that it is only hard work that leads you to success. Well surrounded, I always had confidence in myself and never questioned my skills. Later, I landed in the IT world by chance. As a communications manager for two years, I found this sector fascinating and decided to take a little more interest in it. I then moved into the consulting business in strategic positions. My biggest difficulty in my role as a director was to be considered as a "boss".

How did you experience the year 2020 as Director of Recruitment? What obstacles have you encountered and, above all, what advantages have you discovered remotely? "This period has above all demonstrated that we are able to adapt very quickly. Previously, in the group, we had always favored human contact, and telecommuting was not the norm. So we suddenly switched to remote working. But materially we were ready, because we already had all the technological environment allowing us to collaborate remotely. From the point of view of team cohesion, we also faced challenges. We decided to focus on individual points, to ensure the well-being of employees despite the isolation and distance. This was beneficial for everyone, because at the end of the day, we [...]

What is a Full Stack developer?

A true rock star of development, the Full Stack developer is in demand in almost every company at the moment. In other words, the Full Stack developer is a Swiss Army knife of development. And he masters both the front and the back end. He is able to work as a DevOps, to practice on databases and to manage the development of mobile apps. Popularized only a few years ago, the very complete profession of Full Stack developer is in high demand. What does this expression actually hide? Why work with such a developer? A rather vague job title What is a Full Stack developer? This is a vast question, with three competing definitions. The conflict comes from the interpretation, since "Full Stack" means "all layers".
