After scientific studies and a diploma from the ENCG (Moroccan business school), Aïda decided to become a risk management consultant and chose Blue Soft to develop her talents. She shares with us some of the steps of her journey.

How long have you been working for the group Blue Soft, and what brought you to join us?

I joined the group in the Risk Management team in September 2018 as an Internal Control Consultant.

With a master's degree in IS audit and management control, I was previously a "Risk Advisory" in a large audit firm, where my role was limited to auditing IT risks. However, what I wanted was to understand the transversality of the Risk Manager's job, both in the internal dimension of an organization and in different business lines. I didn't want to specialize in a single subject because it seems to me that the very essence of risk management is to see things in their entirety. So I looked for the ideal position for this, which I found at Blue Soft.

How did your recruitment go?

Between the time I wanted to change careers and the time I was hired at Blue Soft, things happened quite quickly and naturally. I answered an ad on LinkedIn, then I had a first interview at the group's offices. A week later I was interviewed by the client of my first mission, I had a very quick positive feedback and the adventure began!

What attracted you to the position of risk management consultant that you were offered?

I really liked the mission I was offered at Natixis. It was the first time I had worked in the banking/insurance sector and it involved permanent control. This is an aspect of things that I find really interesting, because unlike auditing, it is not seasonal. It's about controlling all the procedures on a permanent basis. This first mission lasted 8 months and it was exactly what I aspired to.

How did you evolve within the group?

After this first mission, I discovered another facet of my job by participating in the development of the activity in the group. I accompanied the director of the Risk Management division on the construction of commercial offers. I really enjoyed this period because it allowed me to understand the whole business, the construction of a budget, the expectations of our clients and the way in which Blue Soft can meet them. And in most cases, I was the one who was doing the work. For example, we built an offer for Engie and I went on a 4 month mission to follow the evolution of a 500m² datacenter that they wanted to optimize. I took part in the study that allowed us to make a customized proposal, worked on several scenarios, as well as on the follow-up and evolution plan. When the choice of the scenario will be decided, I will join the housing team for the concrete realization of the mission, which will be facilitated by the fact that I already know all the genesis of it. It's very motivating because we understand the global stakes of the project.

Today I would like to continue to discover other strategic issues, to take up a managerial position within 2 years.

What would you say to a candidate who is still hesitating to join the group Blue Soft ?

What I notice compared to other structures is that at Blue Soft, while being well accompanied, as a consultant you are very independent and responsible. So when an assignment is a success and you are congratulated by your clients, you have a strong sense of pride. There is an environment that encourages commitment to the mission. There is a framework, help, support, but also - and above all! - trust.

Every day, I learn a lot, and I feel reinforced in my expertise, while seeing multiple facets of my job. I am never bored for a second!
