PACK Solutions called on the expertise of the Empower teams to implement Microsoft Office 365. Christophe Court, Infrastructure Manager at PACK Solutions, gives his feedback on the Microsoft suite as well as on the collaboration with Blue Soft Empower .

Presentation of the company PACK Solutions

Christophe Court. PACK Solutions was founded in 2002 by our president Christophe Emprin. Our main site, which includes production, development, recipe in particular, is located in Les Angles. We also have a PRA/PCA in Paris.

PACK Solutions is in full growth, we are around 280 employees today, we have recruited nearly a hundred people this year. Our main business is the management of savings products, life insurance, provident funds, group or individual for our major insurance clients. We manage contracts and annuities for them. We also have the overflow part, we delegate the expertise but working directly on the customer tools. In addition, we have a call center and a SAM service for business support. Finally, we have the development part, since we develop our own tools and make them evolve to meet customer demands and regulations.

Why did PACK Solutions turn to Microsoft Office 365?

CC. It all started with an observation. When I arrived, there were a certain number of subjects, aging tools, notably an Exchange server. In addition, we needed collaboration tools to exchange, share and work on the same documents. Our business and our tools are purely management oriented. We therefore wanted to delegate certain services for which we do not have the expertise, such as office automation and messaging. We chose Microsoft Office 365 because it is a well-known and recognized solution, so we had no apprehension. It was the choice of reason and stability

Today, we benefit fromreliable and secure outsourcing of our office tools, feature set and replication. We have a primary and secondary site, and Office 365 is accessible from anywhere. The automatic updates, the tracking, the fact that we don't have to worry about upgrading licenses, about deployment, makes the Microsoft suite worthwhile. Thanks to the many features and new tools, we work in a collaborative way, we have new means. What I really like is the notion of reliability, stability and security.

What have you already put in place and what are your plans for Microsoft Office 365?

CC. Our first objective was to be able to back up all Office 365 tools (email, Teams exchanges, SharePoint, documents, etc.), to ensure that we could restore them in the event of a problem. Then, we worked on access security, with double authentication, to be sure that in case of data access, the user is the right one. We are in the process of implementing several solutions, such as MFA(Multi-Factor Authentication), for administration. The next level will be to do the same for users

Now, we will focus on the full and complete use of the different functionalities. We want to manage EDM, access, versioning, etc. with SharePoint for our transversal documents, such as HR or quality documents. We are therefore going to work on a company portal to make them available and allow all our users to find the right services, contacts, links, etc. We will take advantage of this to monitor usage and see what is being used, and whether certain things need to change.

Why did you choose Empower to deploy the Microsoft suite?

CC. I met a very nice person, with whom I like to work, who spoke to me about Blue Soft Empower . I attach a lot of importance to support, to help, to the human aspect, to the exchange. This is exactly what I found at Empower. The collaboration goes really well. At Empower, I find the right people, the competence, the advice. There is also a reactivity on the side of the teams which is quite important. We can quickly exchange ideas, find solutions and ways to move forward. To sum up, at Empower, I met interesting and competent people and, once again, the exchange and the human aspect, which I appreciate enormously.
