and participates in the inter-company tournament organized on May 21, 2022, in St Maximin La Ste Baume, with its best local mixed rugby team

Charenton-le-Pont and Aix-en-Provence, May 16, 2022 - The Blue Soft group, a business and digital services company, announces its contribution to the development of touch rugby, by financing the training of two coaches specialized in health sports at the Sénas Mallemort rugby club. Projet Indigo is a collaborative program that promotes community investment in the general interest by group employees Blue Soft.

Recreational rugby at the Sénas Mallemort club

Although the Sénas Mallemort Rugby Club is first and foremost a school for young sportsmen and women aged 3 to 14, for the past 10 years the club has also been developing a leisure rugby activity for all those wishing to practice without a hitch.

Non-contact 5-a-side rugby is played on half-fields, 2 x 7 minutes, in mixed teams. Jean-François Bérenguer, Director of Operations for Projetlys - Groupe Blue Soft, has been coaching rugby à 5 at the Sénassais club for 7 years now: "In addition to being a leisure sport, rugby à 5 is recognized as a health sport. The practice is growing fast, and we wanted to be able to offer it at our club too".

Sport and health, a special context

Rugby à 5 can therefore be prescribed to any sedentary person, whether senior or suffering from a long-term illness, to take advantage of its benefits. Touch rugby contributes to recovery and boosts self-confidence. The practice of touch rugby is highly supervised, and requires specific training for coaches working with these groups, as well as the Brevet Fédéral Rugby à 5 "Loisir - Bien-Être".

Jean-François Bérenguer explains how he seized the opportunity offered by his company to accelerate the promotion of health sports within his club: "The Indigo project at Blue Soft invites employees to present an association of which they are a member and whose activity, of general interest, can be supported by financial or material aid" .

The Sénas Mallemort club was selected, along with 9 other associations throughout France, by the Project Indigo committee Blue Soft.

Opening of health rugby in September 2022 and corporate tournament

Blue Soft Group is helping to finance the training of Jean-François and a second coach, to help the club achieve its goal of developing a "Health" Rugby à 5 section by the 2022/2023 season. The Blue Soft group is also helping to promote the activity by providing communication resources and producing a video.

" Blue Soft is our biggest sponsor this year. By financing our training courses, the group enables us to invest in adapted equipment," emphasizes Jean-François Bérenguer.

To promote rugby à 5, the Sénas Mallemort rugby club is taking part in the inter-company tournament organized on May 21, 2022 by the Club de Saint Maximin, at the sports complex, 149 rue de la Glacière, 83 470 St Maximin La Ste Baume. A 5-a-side rugby team Blue Soft has been formed for the occasion.
