The Indigo collaborative program aims to support personal projects carried out by the group's employees Blue Soft or associations in which they participate. A second edition is already announced.

Charenton-le-Pont, July 13, 2022 - The Blue Soft group, a business and digital services company, has launched Indigo, a corporate philanthropy program aimed at the group's 800 employees throughout France, Switzerland and now Belgium. The first edition, between September 2021 and October 2022, supported 10 associations with values shared with the Blue Soft group. The second edition will be launched in November 2022.

Indigo, putting the spotlight on personal initiative

The blue flow Blue Soft website has given birth to Indigo, an original corporate philanthropy program devoted entirely to the personal initiatives of Group employees. Lucile Gras, Group Marketing Director Blue Soft, explains the motivations behind the project: "We were keen to put forward a group proposal in which our employees would feel both recognized and supported, supported by blue flow. Corporate philanthropy can be very meaningful when it reconnects with people's personal involvement".

The Indigo program is aimed at charitable causes. Employees are invited to present an association in which they are involved, or an event in which they are taking part, with a social, humanitarian or ecological objective or mission, particularly in the health and sports sectors.

A successful first test edition

For Blue Soft, this first edition was primarily intended to raise awareness of the initiative among the 800 employees throughout France, as well as in Switzerland and, more recently, Belgium. "We didn't try to complicate the process. We just asked them to fill in a registration form and present their association or project, in line with our corporate values of commitment, cohesion and excellence," explains Lucile Gras.

The selection committee has chosen to support all 10 projects submitted in November 2021. "Over the months, the group's various branches have been able to follow the events, learn about the actions supported, and sometimes take part in them. Over and above the sponsorship and its benefits for the associations selected, Indigo has had an impact on employees, who have been able to get to know some of their distant colleagues better. This is invaluable for cohesion ," adds Lucile Gras.

"It's a change from traditional corporate philanthropy, which is often far removed from the concerns of company employees. I've never seen this type of initiative anywhere else, even though it's so meaningful and rewarding," comments Elise, a consultant at Blue Soft, who took part in the Raid des étoiles du Verdon in support of the Petits Princes association.

Skills sponsorship, at a time when IT is a dominant issue

Ludovic Hayat, founder and co-Chairman of the Blue Soft group, intends to continue the experience for as long as possible, and to contribute even more through the added value Blue Soft : "While we have helped to finance the purchase of sports equipment, part of the registration fees for sporting events, or provided communication media through donations, we are particularly keen to strengthen our skills sponsorship. As an IT player, we are very aware of the digital needs of associations, and we believe we have a role to play in supporting them."

For the 2022-2023 edition, Ludovic Hayat and his teams now intend to expand and consolidate the Indigo program, by inviting employees involved in associations whose values are in line with those of the company to sign up.
