Last April, in the midst of confinement, Ileo - a consultancy firm specializing in project management and operations management for the banking / insurance - joined the Blue Soft group family. A few months after the deal, let's take a look back at Ileo's history, expertise and development within the group with Thomas Clément, Chief Operating Officer.

Can you tell us why you chose to join Blue Soft  after several years of success in the insurance and banking businesses?

Thomas Clément explains: " When Ileo was created in 2008, we decided to hyper-specialize in the banking and insurance sectors. In the midst of the financial crisis, the three original founders had a vision of what was to come: a tightening of regulations and the emergence of a new banking sector.and changess to the information systems of all players in the sector.

At the time, there was no such thing as a pure player in ISS project management, and even less so in the insurance industry.. As a result, Ileo was able to grow to a staff of around forty by 2020.

À At this point in our history, we wanted to take a new step in our growth and take on new challenges. We therefore asked In Extenso to assist us in finding the ideal partner for our future growth.

When we met Blue Soft, we immediately understood that it was a great opportunity to join the group, for several reasons. On the one hand, obviously Blue Soft has this business sensitivity that is dear to us, but with a different level of intervention with clients. Where we are very well placed for project management, Blue Soft has serious assets in project management and the problems of operation and infrastructure.

This makes us very complementarys and allows us to build extremely relevant offers for our clientscovering the entire spectrum of each of their business projects. Secondly, thanks to the size of the group, we have the possibility to reach very large-scale missions, and totally exciting for our consultants. Finally, one of the most important reasons for our successful merger is undoubtedly the way we see our business, the importance of the human factor, the empowerment of our consultants... A corporate spirit that is dear to us and which allows us to value people and their potential.

What has changed concretely since April?

" In fact, the change was initiated long before the signing. For six months, we had a lot of discussions with the management of Blue Soft, met with key people and started to think and work on our future strategy.

"Here, we benefit not only from the entire group's working environment, but also from valuable back office support."

Once things were made official, we had a "logistical" integration phase a bit slowed down compared to what we thought we would do, because of the confinement. We established rituals to keep in touch from a distance until we could actually move into the premises of Blue Soft, in Charenton, at the beginning of September. Here, we benefit not only from the whole working environment of the group, but also from a precious back office support, notably through management tools and a shared information system.

Commercially, we have also moved very quickly, and we are already seeing the effects. For example, the The method of offer "Agility as a Service " proposed by Blue Soft is a real success and the ofrescoes set up by associating MOA and MOE allow to make gains of productivity gains and financial gains and financial gains that our clients appreciate.

How did the change of direction feel for you?

"This was a point of vigilance for us, before taking the decision to join forces. We really had to find a way of operating that would enable us to retain the wealth of human resources we have built up over the last 12 years at Ileo.

Our management culture is both cross-functional and empowering. We offer consultants long-term assignments, and we have committed, loyal employees. Every consultant who joins Ileo enriches our company.t with his or her talent, and it's very important to us that everyone is free to express themselves and propose whatever they wish.
