CSR and disability week at Blue Soft

Once again this year, the Blue Soft group has chosen to organize a CSR and disability week from November 20 to 24, echoing SEEPH, the European week for the employment of people with disabilities. This is an opportunity to raise awareness and involve Blue Soft employees in CSR and disability issues in the workplace.

We offer our Talents Bleus the chance to take part in workshops, conferences and games run by professionals, associations and occupational medicine specialists.

A week on the theme of CSR and disability

During this week, Blue Soft is inviting its employees to special events led by specialists, focusing on two key themes: disability and CSR.

Initially, the subject of disability will be introduced in a playful way, in the form of a business game, to deconstruct prejudices and change people's outlook on the subject. We'll also be joined by a representative from the occupational medicine department, who will talk about disability in the workplace. The aim of this workshop is to discuss the rights of employees and family carers. In addition, a specialist will talk about how to play down and understand disability, illness and/or disorders, and in a second workshop she will introduce us to collective empathy and respect around disability. Finally, we are delighted to have the pleasure of hearing from

With regard to the environment and CSR issues, the week will begin with a look at Blue Soft's CSR charter, the aim being to take stock of our actions to date and those to come. We will also be holding a workshop on the theme of water, a highly topical subject, as it is a rare resource that must be preserved. A second workshop will be presented on the theme of carbon footprint, to help us understand and significantly reduce our individual carbon footprint. We are delighted to welcome one of our employees from our business unit Team Partners in Switzerland. She will be presenting the ABC's of digital responsibility during a workshop.

The event kicks off today, and our employees will be able to attend 10 remote workshops across France and Europe, providing an opportunity to gather and learn together!

Duo Day kicks off at Blue Soft

For the first time, we're taking part in Duo Day. On November 23, we'll be welcoming disabled people to our teams, where they'll work together as a duo, immersing themselves in their day-to-day professional lives. This meeting enables disabled people to discover a work environment and a profession, and to confirm their career path. It's an important experience for Blue Soft to discover new talent, affirm its commitment and fight against prejudice about disability in the workplace. The day is an opportunity for people to meet, change their outlook and, together, overcome their prejudices.

In concrete terms, three profiles from three different Blue Soft business units volunteered to form a duo for a day.

  • Anne-Lucie, Director of Blue Soft Consulting, for a human resources position with her teams atIleo Conseil and Daylight at our head office in Charenton-le-Pont.
  • Genseric, Microsoft team leader at Blue Soft Empowerfor the position of Microsoft 365 Technical Architect in our Lyon office.
  • Nicolas, front-end architect at Digital Factoryfor the position of front and back-end developer in our Rouen office.

An opportunity to review the Group's CSR policy

This themed week focuses on two key issues: changing mentalities and breaking down prejudices.

As our manifesto puts it,"we believe in the power of blue flow and its ability to inspire all talents, while respecting differences". More than a state of mind, for us this positioning is the basis for concrete action plans.

Meet Thierry Boccara, co-president of Blue Soft, who talks to us about CSR within the group.

As part of our CSR policy, Blue Soft is committed to the relationship between employment and disability, and we promote this idea on a daily basis through small and large actions. We encourage the use of adapted companies, and raise the awareness of our teams through workshops and theme weeks.

We are committed to being a learning and inclusive company, and to uniting all our employees around innovative and committed projects. We strive to make a genuine transition in terms of carbon footprint and eco-behavior, by improving corporate practices and questioning at all levels the impact of our activities and decisions on society and the environment.
