UX Designer on a work-study programme: successfully integrating a distance learning course

La Covid-19 camee disrupted the integration of some employees who werewho were about to start their new position during this period. This is the case of Charlotte , who joined the Blue Soft team last September as a UX Designer .

Hello Charlotte, can you introduce yourself?

"Hello., I would like to introduce myself: Charlotte I am 23 years old.

Passionate about graphic design and drawing, I was planning to enter a graphic design school after my baccalauréat. Lhe job market being saturated, I decided instead to go into a fast-growing profession: UX Designer. Being in chargee of designing and improving digital interfaces, while at the same time demonstrating creativity, was of great interest to me.. Today, I'm studying for a Master 2 in UX innovation, which I'm doing on a part-time basis with Blue Soft Group working full-time from home. "

Why did you choose Blue Soft to do your internship in UX design?

We use methodologies that include research, ideation, creation and iteration.

How did your integration go during the crisis Covid-19 crisis?

"Normally, the period of integration into the company is not obvious, and with the current health crisis, honestly my fears were even greater.

Since I started at Blue SoftI have been teleworking à 100%. From a distance, a presentation by the team members enabled us to get to know each other better. From the very first day, I felt positive vibess: a willingness on the part of all my colleagues to integrate methe team and create a bond. Subsequentlythe introduction on Wednesdayss and Fridays have providedexchange and get to know get to knowît more. So far, I haven't had the opportunity to work face-to-face, but I feel part of the company. but I feel part of the company. How do you manage the classes and the 100% telecommuting for your UX ?

"It's not easy, I try to reconcile telecommuting and classes as best I can.. Lull remote working has its good points and its bad. It it takes away points of reference that you have to recreate for yourself. As I work 100% from home, it it's easy to log on at any time but I find it important to set limits and not exceed them. As far as classes are concerned, come days are harder than others, but that's part and parcel of the sandwich course, and you have to know how to adapt and organize yourself.

JIset up time slots for myself to work on my courses while having time to rest in the evening in front of a good movie for example. I also try to schedule time outside during lunch break.
