Creating an outstanding user experience for a sustainable UX

All too often reduced to its technical aspect, user experience nevertheless deserves to be explored more widely. Between cultural questions and corporate issues, UX Design today considers a more sustainable design. Le Renard Bleu, a design agency of the group Blue Soft, explains this aspect in its new white paper on the "Approach to the design of digital services and tools". User experience in the 90's When the internet first appeared in the early 90's, digital belonged to engineers. It was in the mid-90s that design and user experience emerged. Without any comparison, this era marks the freedom of exploration of design. With no codes or standards defined, web designers were progressively moving forward with no real reference point. Then the technological advances were more and more frequent: tables, gif, interfaces in flash, CSS and Javascript. Faced with this rapid technical evolution, norms, standards and design models became more and more common. The beginning of 2010 marks the advent of professional and private applications, as well as the evolution of mobility habits. This will completely transform the uses and expectations of users in terms of experience and UX. These growing technological mutations will lead the [...]

Cyber Resilience Act, a European regulation to ensure the cybersecurity of Edge Computing and IoT

Today, there are several regulations to secure connected objects in their use. Until now, the IoT was not secured as soon as it was produced, which created security weaknesses and therefore concerns about its development. But this time is soon over. A European regulation for cybersecurity in IoT and Edge Computing is about to be adopted. What is it? What is its purpose? We explain. The cybersecurity regulation in the IoT that may change everything Today's society is increasingly fond of new technologies, including an exaltation for connected objects. But the market is unfortunately not as controlled as it should be, and this in different areas of activity. The IoT sector is no exception. In search of cost savings, professionals or individuals favor the consumption of American or Chinese equipment. Where costs are lower but the transparency of the manufacturing process is rather opaque. Because of this lack of visibility, consumers have no control and are therefore subject to major risks. Once adopted, the Cyber Resilience Act, or European regulation for cyber resilience in the IoT, will have a major impact on the entire chain [...]

Sustainable digital technology, moving from concepts to actions

The team Blue Soft Empower , expert in Microsoft solutions, provides a white paper entitled The 3 steps to make your organization aware of sustainable digital. This book is intended to accompany organizations in building a new sustainable digital lifestyle without degrowth. Change your digital habits Digital uses are currently responsible for 4% of global greenhouse gas emissions. However, they are expected to double by 2025, as they are necessary and concomitant to economic activity. Organizations do not have to remain paralyzed in front of this state of affairs and can all set up a strategy to accompany them towards the reasoned consumption of a sustainable and durable digital. The approach is no longer a simple option that the ecologically invested company seizes. It is a lever for growth, a criterion for calls for tender, a subject for recruitment, a condition for the future. After recalling the terms that define sustainable development, from the 1992 Earth Summit, the white paper returns to the famous notion of carbon footprint, so difficult to grasp and evaluate. Using a concrete example, the adoption of the Cloud, Blue Soft Empower focuses on the solutions and solutions for the future.

An efficient cybersecurity organization, opt for a DSSI

An efficient cybersecurity organization is the key to success. Putting in place the right technical solutions and raising awareness among your employees is a long way to go to become a fully cyber-resilient organization. Here are our 3 tips for achieving your digital security goals. An effective cybersecurity organization, a CISO to anticipate needs Interest in security within an organization and its systems is fairly recent. Indeed, the subject is currently under the spotlight, notably through numerous publications. But until recently, teams were brought in to manage emergencies, without having the time to plan concrete support services or recruitment processes. Today, the geopolitical context and recruitment difficulties in IT are accelerating this awareness. The notion of cybersecurity risk is therefore becoming omnipresent. That said, cyber resilience is mostly influenced by the security culture of each organization, which leaves room for disparities between each company, keeping some as inadequate to the security challenges. Today, CISOs (Chief Information Security Officers) are unfortunately plagued by ever-increasing workloads and under-investment [...]

Controlling deadlines for successful project management

According to a study conducted by the Standish Group, an independent international IT research consultancy, only one third of projects meet their cost, time and functionality objectives. For projects that do not reach their deadline objectives, the average overrun rate is close to 80%. Dominique Causse and Mikaël Carduner, expert consultants for Blue Soft Consulting - Daylight, tell us more about the factors impacting and the points of attention. All this with the aim of controlling deadlines for successful project management. Controlling your deadlines for successful project management: the 3 mistakes not to be made for a successful project There are three causes that can significantly impact the deadlines of a project. At the level of the organization and the environment in which a project or a program evolves The factors of the control of the deadlines are mainly based on the managerial culture. In particular, the project management culture from which the policies, methodologies and maturity levels expected of the entire organization in terms of project management are derived. At the level of project sponsorship, this is cited "as one of the primary causes of failure or success of projects".

Current issues and the future of cloud and infrastructure.

Current issues and the future of cloud and infrastructure. In this interview, we asked Michael Benaroch, pre-sales director at the BU Cloud Infrastructure, several questions. The goal is to take stock of the current situation and establish tangible elements concerning the future of this very important branch of IT: cloud and infrastructure. What are the challenges in the world of Cloud and Infrastructure in 2022? "There are several challenges for our customers today. We need to be able to accelerate the time to market, i.e., the speed at which infrastructure is made available. To be able to expose these infrastructure services to end customers through provisioning portals. These two factors will inevitably generate increased consumption and potentially exponentially! Behind all this, there is a strong financial stake. We need to analyze and take this issue into account when accompanying the transformation. One of the solutions is to choose open source. The key is to save money on a large scale, especially on licenses. Today Blue Soft is a committed, independent, reliable and vendor agnostic player. We are able to address the entire chain of [...]

Infrastructure as Code, when Dev takes precedence over Ops...

Infrastructure as Code has made its appearance in our information systems to reconcile or revolutionize both dev and ops. Let's discover here the key success factors of this method. ... provided that there is close collaboration at the outset Infrastructure as Code revolutionizes software engineering by bringing coherence between environments, which has been lacking until now in versioning and testing. That said, IaC also brings with it a transformation of methods, which implies a little caution and should not make us forget the primordial role of infrastructure engineers, to the benefit of development teams. IaC, faster and better Infrastructure as Code or IaC aims to codify the infrastructure made available to enterprise applications. In particular, it enables the same technical envelope to be reproduced in an automated way, and continuously if necessary, on all useful environments (development, integration, pre-production or production environments). In short, the primary advantage of IaC and the standardization it enables is that it considerably accelerates the deployment of environments while guaranteeing their consistency. This race to the top can sometimes leave one wondering. Ten years ago, speed was already the promise of Cloud through a PaaS offering predefined modeling. If, [...]

3 questions to the director of Blue Soft Consulting, Anne-Lucie Philonenko,

Teaming up and staying the course Formally established at the beginning of 2022, Blue Soft Consulting now brings together Daylight Consulting, Ileo Conseil and Ileo Niort. Anne-Lucie Philonenko is at the head of this new division of more than 115 consultants, which she is leading with determination on the path to new and numerous collaborations. Anne-Lucie Philonenko, is consulting first and foremost a human affair? In any case, that's what it should be. There is no transformation, no introduction of new technology, no reorganization, no new perspectives, without the human being being at the origin of the success or failure of a project. But every transformation is a leap, a jump towards what we don't know, at least in part. It is a source of doubt, anxiety and sometimes affliction. Not to recognize this is a fundamental mistake. That being said, change, as a cycle, is inevitable. Knowing how to welcome it and move forward with it is certainly the best way to go about it, whether it is a matter of growth for the organization or evolution for the people involved. Consulting aims to provide the knowledge necessary to lay a solid foundation on the one hand and to help create the framework of an ambition or program on the other. All major projects [...]
