Elise, consultant at Blue Soft, took part in the Raid des étoiles du Verdon from July 19 to 23, 2022. Part of the proceeds from the race will be donated to the Petits Princes association. As part of Project Indigo, Blue Soft donned its sports sponsorship suit and helped Elise and the B'rillettes finance their extraordinary adventure. Blue Soft supports its employees' volunteer projects every year.

The B'Rillettes, 8th in the general ranking

Between June 19 and 23, 2022, the raid des étoiles du Verdon was held. More than 30 teams, exclusively women, competed with enthusiasm, good humor and solidarity. Day and night, in teams of 3, they went through a series of events: swimming, bike and run, trail, mountain bike, canoe, paddle, obstacle course, and even treasure hunt.

It is in the magnificent setting of the Gorges du Verdon that our collaborator Élise, consultant of the Swiss agency Team Partners group Blue Soft and her team the B'Rillettes achieved a feat. Reaching the 8th place in the general ranking out of 33 teams competing, thus gaining 17 places compared to the previous year.

Although Elise has always been a sportswoman, family and professional life may have taken their toll on her regular, long-term training. "The Raid des Etoiles du Verdon is an excellent reason to work on your fitness all year round," smiles Elise. "The prospect of having to go the distance, for 72 really intense hours, helps to keep you motivated every day!".

The Petits Princes Association

The adventure and the surpassing of oneself are in the program of the raid of the étoiles du Verdon, but it is generosity that presides over the event. In 2021, 30,000€ were raised thanks to the registration fee and the Team Supporter program. These funds are donated to the Petits Princes association, whose mission is to make the dreams of seriously ill children and teenagers come true.

This year, 300€ per registration are reserved for the Petits Princes association.300 per registration is reserved for the Petits Princes association, as well as the voluntary contributions of the participating teams' relatives. These benefit from an additional 10 seconds in the ranking, up to a maximum of 6 minutes, for each donation.

"We were deeply moved by the personal stories told by the volunteers from the Association Petits Princes, who were present at the event, and the efforts they make to alleviate the children's daily lives. Their mission is both beautiful and of general interest"underlines Elise. This year, moreover, the Petits Princes association had a team team, the Rêveuses.

Sponsorship Blue Soft with the Indigo project

The Indigo project at Blue Soft aims to promote employee investment in extra-professional activities, through financial or in-kind support. For Elise, who presented her project to the selection committee, the aim was to promote women's sport and its accessibility.

"I thought it was great that my employer chose to support activities that contribute to the well-being of employees, without the project necessarily being related to our profession. This kind of encouragement is not so common, as companies usually focus on high-profile sporting events.".

With the financial support of 4 sponsors, including Blue Soft Groupthe B'Rillettes were able to finance their participation as well as the essential equipment, such as several pairs of sneakers and the mountain bike equipment.

"We are very proud of our 8ᵉ place and our progress year on year. Proud to have shared such moments with women from all walks of life and to contribute to the support of the Petits Princes association"says Elise.

And for anyone wondering, the name B'Rillettes is a tribute to the rillettes from Elise's native Sarthe region, with a B for added glamour.
