The INOVIE Group adopts Microsoft 365 and Blue Soft for its 32 subsidiaries

As one of the French leaders in medical diagnostics, the INOVIE Group called on Blue Soft Empower to deploy Microsoft 365 collaborative tools in its 32 subsidiaries. With 8000 employees in France and in the French overseas territories, the INOVIE Group has become one of the leaders in medical biology. With 650 sites in France and 80 state-of-the-art technical platforms, the Group takes care of more than 80,000 patients every day. Although its know-how in medical diagnostics was already well established, internally the INOVIE Group lacked a cross-functional solution to promote collaboration between its various subsidiaries. Standardize and better secure its IS with Microsoft 365 tools INOVIE thus chose to deploy Microsoft 365 in order to standardize the solutions of its entities. The result is increased collaboration and even greater efficiency, but also enhanced security. Denis Roux, Director of Information Systems, explains this choice: "The idea was to go beyond a simple messaging system with an Office package. The Microsoft 365 suite offers tools that allow us to improve the level of security and central management of our workstations.

Innovate and build the hospital of tomorrow: infrastructure, collaboration, cybersecurity, business applications, AI

Hospital information systems are often perceived as outdated. While public hospitals do have a technical debt, their resilience and taste for innovation are well established. Based on the experience of its more than 250 customers in the healthcare sector, our subsidiary, Blue Soft Empower , in partnership with Talan, offers an innovation pathway based on four levels of hospital information system maturity. 1. building the infrastructure base and securing the hospital information system The grouping of institutions into regional hospital groups (GHT) has posed the challenge of converging hospital information systems since 2016. With staff required to work on several sites, IT departments have had to adapt with remote collaboration solutions. With the health crisis of 2020, forced telecommuting has become a necessity for some staff and inter-institutional collaboration has increased. But to achieve all of this, users must first be grouped in a single Azure Active Directory. Now that these identities are listed, they need to be secured, and this is where Defender for Identity comes in. Finally, to cover all attack surfaces and detect security events, Microsoft [...]

HDS Hosting: why is Azure a key partner for GHTs?

Health data is not personal data like any other. The legislator has taken care to provide a framework for the rules governing its hosting. HDS hosting, i.e. having received certification to be able to host health data, has been mandatory in any information system linked to the medical sector since 2018. Here's an article to find out more about healthcare data and the RGPD. At the same time, spurred on by the law modernizing the healthcare system, establishments are tending to group together in GHTs (groupements hospitaliers de territoire) in order to pool their resources and enable the patient to be placed at the heart of healthcare organization. The digital transformation that accompanies these groupings can be complex, particularly when it comes to unifying information systems and their architecture. cloud computing provides a solution for infrastructures; its benefits are even amplified by the use of remote applications. But healthcare information also brings with it heightened data protection constraints. Migration projects to Cloud services therefore require specialized business expertise. As holder of the Microsoft services contract awarded by the CAIH (Centrale d'achat de l'informatique hospitalière), Blue Soft Empower has developed solid expertise in the [...]

Top 5 benefits of Microsoft's Azure DevOps

What are the benefits of working with Azure DevOps? More and more developer and operations teams are embracing the DevOps culture to address the duality between developers and operations. Today, 37% of enterprises are reported to have already implemented DevOps projects (Trend Micro, 2019), and Azure DevOps and its assets are starting to set the standard for the field. However, the number of tools labeled "DevOps" is growing by the day (see our article on must-have DevOps tools) and it is easy to get lost in the jungle of solutions. In this jungle, some solutions like Azure DevOps stand out. There are many reasons for this, so we have summarized the strengths of Azure DevOps in 5 main advantages. 1. The security offered by Azure DevOps The Azure environment makes security its priority by following the standard security models to the letter: detect, assess, diagnose, stabilize, close. This is coupled with rigorous cybersecurity monitoring, earning Microsoft Azure an impressive array of international compliances. 2. Collaboration is the foundation of Azure DevOps Azure DevOps makes sharing one of its key strengths. Achieving [...]

Collaborative work: How Blue Soft Empower supported its clients during the health crisis

During the health crisis and the confinement, remote collaborative work and the tools that facilitate it were the stars of the companies. Suddenly, all of us were behind our screens, and the need to facilitate exchanges and sharing could no longer be postponed. Teams looked for ways to ensure business continuity, whenever possible. For digital services companies, the period has been protean. For while digital is fully, naturally and culturally integrated into teams, the impact of containment on customers has been uneven. Where some have seen the urgency of certain projects and accelerated on the subjects, others have slowed down or stopped their activity. Our subsidiary Blue Soft Empower , a specialist in collaborative work and the implementation of Office 365 (the reference suite, now officially named "Microsoft 365"), has accompanied its customers during this delicate phase. Whether they are part of the private, public or hospital sector, they were able to rely on its responsiveness and resilience to get through this unprecedented period. A partnership with Microsoft that has proven its value in the implementation of collaborative work As soon as the containment was announced, [...]

Biotope chooses cloud hybrid via Microsoft Azure

After Office 365, Biotope turned to cloud hybrid with Microsoft Azure. Olivier Raynaud, its Director of Information Systems, agreed to talk about the reasons for this choice. He also talks about how his team uses cloud and the advantages of hybridisation. Presentation of Biotope Biotope is Europe's leading environmental consultancy. Biotope has a subsidiary dedicated to communication and publishing and advises its clients via 18 agencies in France and in the French overseas departments. Biotope also has an international presence, with 5 subsidiaries located in Morocco, Madagascar, China, Central Africa and Belgium. Why did you choose the cloud hybrid? Olivier Raynaud explains: "The choice of cloud hybrid came quite naturally, in successive phases. About 3 years ago, we realized that our architecture was at risk. We had a number of applications and machines in various locations. Indeed, we had different servers in several clouds and also on our premises. Our backup control was not in place. So we planned a roadmap to make sure that we would be able to [...]

Moves in cloud : Microsoft Azure forms new partnership with VMware

At the end of February 2019, The Information published a groundbreaking news: the cloud Microsoft Azure solution is joining forces with virtualization specialist VMware. With an estimated revenue of $11 billion in 2018, Microsoft Azure is well below its competitor Amazon Web Service (AWS) with its $25.65 billion. Could this new alliance be a response to the competition, which already uses VMware's solution? What is the interest for VMware in this partnership? A look back at a somewhat surprising collaboration... The success of the multicloud The partnership between Microsoft and VMware is not happening now without reason. This collaboration responds to a new trend among CIOs who now store their data on different types of cloud and no longer on a single cloud . This is called multicloud. RightScale's study on cloud in the enterprise shows that 84% of companies with more than 1,000 employees have a multi-cloud strategy. Of these, 56% use hybrid clouds, 17% use public clouds and 9% use private clouds. The cloud lexicon 1. Public cloud : is a cloud created by a service provider and accessible to any subscribing enterprise. Although many organizations use public clouds, the [...]
